I received my acceptance letter on Thursday. Just paid my enrollment deposit. Can't wait.

I'm hoping that the nursing department will be mailing the other stuff we have to get done like (immunizations, background check, etc). Hoping to get this done soon so I don't have to stress about it later on.

As of right now, looking for nursing scholarships. I'm trying to find out more information about the UM Accelerated Nursing Scholarship since the information on the website is old. I emailed about a month ago but still haven't received a response. Some of the links on the UM page are old too. I might have to head down to the main campus and actually find someone about it.

Other than that, federal loans etc.

I'm starting to look for places right now online and basically go apartment hunting soon. It's a pretty good drive from Boca. I'm hoping I can move in December so I can settle in.

@m&m112 and @red123, did you receive anything else besides the acceptance packet?

*** I only got the acceptance packet nothing else. I am thinking about going up down there tomorrow. I live in West Palm Beach. I am looking for scholarships as well and will be taking out loans. I am working right now so I will save every paycheck because this program is super expensive for no reason. On the bright side we will be done in a year.Since we already have our bachelors degree we are probably not going to get any grants but I am going to talk to people. Also, I want to get started on my immunizations and other things. I read the other threads about what was needed. We have about 3 1/2 months to get this ready!

Yeah, basically saving little by little. We probably won't get any federal grants but we might get some through UM. When I took my pre-req courses at FAU after graduation from UCF, I got a little bit of money from FAU which helps.

I think we have to get immunizations, background check and scrubs.

I originally applied for the Summer 2011 class but was told that they were full so I was deferred for the Spring 2012 class. So my application was on file since March but I'm guessing they didn't look at it till recently.
