  1. Hello, I was wondering about the pre-hire exam. Was it hard? What type of questions were there? How did you study? The internship program is how long and is there a 1 year commitment? And any other information you can provide will help. Thanks
  2. the background check cost $149 geesh...Did you all have to pay that price too because when I first logged in it was saying 129 then at the end of the form it said 149????
  3. any suggestions for apartments that are inexpensive but close to campus? ive been looking at the um website but not that many listings yet
  4. when is the 500 deposit due?
  5. yes, i went to the school of nursing and this is what they gave me.
  6. http://www.miamilocators.com/needanapartment.html I found this website that helps people find apartments/condos. There is no fee to use this realtor company. I will be calling them around November because thats when people are leaving their places. I will be looking for a roommate preferences: 2/2 apartment, nursing student, quiet, clean, nice. My budget for a apartment is between 500-675 a month for rent. Also, you can get started on your immunization paperwork here is the link for the requirements: http://www6.miami.edu/student-health/pdf/ImmunizationFormNursing.pdf
  7. *** I only got the acceptance packet nothing else. I am thinking about going up down there tomorrow. I live in West Palm Beach. I am looking for scholarships as well and will be taking out loans. I am working right now so I will save every paycheck because this program is super expensive for no reason. On the bright side we will be done in a year.Since we already have our bachelors degree we are probably not going to get any grants but I am going to talk to people. Also, I want to get started on my immunizations and other things. I read the other threads about what was needed. We have about 3 1/2 months to get this ready!
  8. @ m&m112 @k24droid how are you guys going to pay for tuition? And what is your living situation like?
  9. The app process was easy!! No problems. Which scholarship are you talking about?
  10. yes, I have a guy friend who just graduated. He said first semester is not that bad but doable. Fundamentals class maybe hard fro some. You have to take the hesi for certain classes every semester. Its 25% of your grade. It goes by real quick. He told me some things about clinicals...What books we may need and ones he didn't buy etc...
  11. Hello I got accepted into UM for Spring 2012 accelerated program. I am looking into getting an apartment down there hopefully with a roommate. Did any one else get in?
