University of Miami ABSN Summer 2020

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hello everyone!

I hope it's not too early to start a thread for University of Miami Summer 2020 ABSN cycle but I have already submitted my application and want to see who else has as well. It is my first time applying but I hope to get in because it seems like a top notch school. I would be relocating from California if so. Hopefully we can all stay updated here!

No idea, the admissions counselor I contacted just said “decisions go out until April.”

Does anyone know if another round of acceptances went out today?

From previous threads it seems like every two weeks

Unless the start of school backs it up and we don't hear until February. That seemed to happen last year

I think this is what’s going to happen!

I wish they’d let out of state students know soon. If I get in I have to find housing and roommates so I’m pre-stressing a bit!

I understand completely! I'm coming from out of state as well.

It's going to be a long weekend since Monday is a holiday. But let's hope for Tuesday! Do you think it's a good sign our applications are marked 'complete'?

Usually when people’s applications are marked as complete it means a decision has been made, so I think it’s a good sign that we’ll hear back soon!

Hi All! I have been accepted a few weeks ago and I was wondering if all the accepted applicants would join the Facebook group: UM ABSN Summer 2020 Cohort

I am so excited for this journey!

hey everyone, just wondering if anyone has heard anything... my app was marked complete on 1/9. just wondering if anyone is in the same boat. I did call the advisor cause something was missing, and she told me that it would probably be this week or next? does anyone have any more info? this is torture

Mine was marked complete on 1/10 and I haven’t heard anything either. The last 2 years they didn’t hear anything until February because of the class that starts in Spring, so I’m guessing we’ll hear the first week of Feb.

To everyone who is or will be looking for a place to live, I highly recommend contacting Ann Awadi 954-646-6505. She is a realtor in the area and I thought some of you may be interested using her as a resource for securing housing.

I will be relocating from out of state and have no knowledge of the area and as many of you have mentioned, finding housing is stressful. I just wanted to share the resource I used because she made the process so much easier. Now I am a lot less stressed and more excited!
