University of Miami ABSN Summer 2018

Is anyone else applying for the Accelerated BSN program at the University of Miami to start in May 2018? I am just finishing up my application now and hoping to submit it in a week or two. I'd like to connect to some others also applying!

Hi I did not have a positive outcome at all. Honestly, I only know of Johns Hopkins and Colombia as for the Direct entry MSN.

I am applying to the ABSN program though sometimes I feel like I should do the masters so hard to decide especially with some of these nursing pre Reqs

Submitted my app in NursingCAS on December 1. I hope that is not too late and they still have spots open. From what I read, it seems like sometimes they review the applications on a rolling basis. Is that true? Someone also stated that the results come out in February, so I am not sure? I know the deadline for the application in NursingCAS is like Febraury 2018.

I also applied. I just talked to the one of the heads of the nursing school. They told me they are still working on the process for the spring 2019 (January). She told me this week or by next they will sit down and review the apps for summer. It seems like it is a very long process at UMiami!

Hi! Yes this waiting thing is the worst part of it all!! I already signed up for pre Reqs for other programs just in case! Has anyone had any updates on their application status? I turned in my application in about a month after the open enrollment date ....í ½í¹ˆ

I just got an email this evening about setting up my CaneLink account and activating my ID. I am not sure what that means, but at least they told me that they received my app.

I spoke to someone yesterday and they told me that they are still working on January applications and that hopefully by the end of December they will start making decisions for May.
