University of Memphis (LCON -The Loewenberg College of Nursing) Spring 2018

Hi I will be applying to the University of Memphis - Loewenberg College of Nursing for the Spring 2018 semester. Thought I'll make a thread for everyone else who will be applying for this semester and we can share updates and stats with each other :) super nervous because my stats are not the highest but was told it really depends on who all applies with you for that semester. Heard stories about people getting in with a 2.8 to a 3.2 so it depends but Good luck to everyone and God bless!

You log into your "MyMemphis" account then you go to the menu tab in the right corner go to "student ". On that menu go to "banner self service"> student > student records and academic transcript. You can go from there. I'm sure there's an easier way if doing it.

I am also applying for the Spring 2018 term. I think my gpas are fine. However, it is just taking forever to hear back from them. I applied Sept 9th. I guess there's just a lot of people who have applied. I just want to hear back already. Anyone else feel like their life has been put on hold since they applied?

Hello everyone. I've been reading thru your thread preparing for my turn in fall 18. Just wondering if any of your got your letters/emails yet?

I have not received my letter yet. I was told by a Nursing student who is about to graduate that they must be taking a while because they usually try to reply as soon as possible since we'll have a lot of stuff to get done. However, I looked at previous years posts and they have been taking a couple months to reply so it's just a waiting game at this point. Hopefully we'll either hear back this week or next week...

Yea, no one has received a letter yet. It's just waiting game for us at this point. We don't know for sure when they will be sent out.

In response to your question EMT_2RN and here's some additional info. I think that if you are applying for Fall 2018 though, you apply in February/March and hear back by the latest May, so you are guaranteed a couple of months to prepare for school and get everything in order, or so I was told in my learning community and by previous nursing applicants. You still have to wait a decent amount of time, but have the summer to get everything together.
