University of Memphis (LCON -The Loewenberg College of Nursing) Spring 2018

Hi I will be applying to the University of Memphis - Loewenberg College of Nursing for the Spring 2018 semester. Thought I'll make a thread for everyone else who will be applying for this semester and we can share updates and stats with each other :) super nervous because my stats are not the highest but was told it really depends on who all applies with you for that semester. Heard stories about people getting in with a 2.8 to a 3.2 so it depends but Good luck to everyone and God bless!

I will be applying for the spring I but I won't be finish will all of my perquisites until the fall kinda scared I won't get accepted.

Hi, I am also applying for the spring 2018 term. I am super nervous. I am also applying to UT and Union Germantown fall cohort. I am graduating this summer from U of M with a B.A. in Psychology. I plan to retake A&PII this fall due to its been over 5 years. I will keep you updated. Best wishes to everyone!

I've also applied to LSON for Spring 18'. I've only completed one science but I'll be taking the second over the summer and then

micro in the Fall.

Hey Guys! I am applying in spring of 2018 and I am dying of nerves. I have a 3.5 for overall GPA and 3.0 for my pre req sciences. I will have all my pre reqs done including statistics and upper division course done after fall of 17. Any kind of news of how competitive it could possibly for this up coming spring?

I have applied to UofM. I will lack 2 prerequisites after Fall. Does anyone know how the process goes with finishing up prereq's and moving on to the Nursing. Is that two different applications? I'm at Union now and based on their curriculum I would be missing 3 electives and the Act. My options were to take electives somewhere else,test out on Dantes or take them in the Spring but be charged the nursing program price which is almost $600 per credit hour. So I'm definitely transferring.

When I spoke with someone, I was told that the goal was to have accepted/rejected info out by fall break. Then he added, that if not, it would be by the end of the month due to registration being in November.
