  1. I recently got accepted into an accelerated BSN program that is 17 months long. I begin in August of this year, so I want to get as prepared as I can before the program starts. I am constantly reading articles on here from current nurses, nursing students, etc. and I already feel overwhelmed. I am actually terrified! Everyone I know just tells me how hard it is going to be, how I won't have a life, etc. and I expect that. However, while reading some of the posts on here, I think "What does that even mean? How am I possibly going to learn all of this stuff in such a short amount of time?! Am I actually smart enough to do this?!". I may be overthinking, but if anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated!
  2. Fielder Square apartments are nice and extremely close to the school! They are pricey though. I live right next to the Pink Palace in East Memphis (almost to Midtown) and have always felt safe. There are houses for rent in our neighborhood pretty often. I have multiple friends who go to UTHSC that live on Mud Island, also. River Set apartments are where most of them live, which are very nice and safe. But I would suggest talking to Ms. Osborne or Ms. Lu!
  3. Was hoping for the same. I'll update as soon as I get anything else.
  4. Has anyone gotten an official acceptance letter or anything in the mail besides the first email?
  5. Anyone else religiously checking their email or am I the only one going crazy? Lol
  6. I think mine went well. I'm anxious to hear back. I believe she said they'll send out around the end of February so if as soon as anyone hears back, let us know!
  7. I have no idea, honestly! I would check past threads on here about UTHSC to see if anyone else applied from out of state and how much of a notice they got.
  8. Mine is at 8:30! Any idea what you're gonna wear? I'm having such a hard time deciding. Also, good luck! í ½í¸Š
  9. Hey! I applied for Fall 2018 also. I received a call yesterday for an interview. Mine is Tuesday morning. I'm so nervous yet excited!
  10. I have an interview with them in a couple of days... any tips on what to wear? Tips for anything else? I'm so nervous yet excited!
  11. Hey guys! I know this thread is old, but could anyone tell me about the interview process there? Did 1 person or multiple people interview you? What type of questions did they ask? Also, how are you liking the program?! Thank you!
  12. I'm beyond nervous. Just wish they would let us know already...
  13. Y'all...... I'm going CRAZY. I've been checking my email 10 times an hour. Haha.
