  1. I'm a native memphian... if i were moving here for school and didn't have kids etc I would definitely look at midtown or downtown. In particular the Overton square area is great, walkable and really booming. There are apartments and houses in that area. Crosstown concourse might also be a cool place to live (renovated old sears factory in midtown and close to school).
  2. The lady I emailed with told me "later on in March"... so I'm thinking it may be a couple weeks.
  3. I felt pretty good about mine too. They asked a lot of questions! We'll see what happens. Best of luck to everyone. Waiting around is tough!
  4. Good luck to you too! No clue what I'll wear but it'll definitely include flats, not heels, just because that's how I'm most comfortable... I imagine they'll get a whole range of attire. Just go conservative and I'm sure you'll be fine.
  5. Mine is Tuesday morning too! 10:30
  6. That's so frustrating about your transcripts. I also had some issues with one of my transcripts not appearing though I got an email from nursing CAS saying it had been received. I had to resend and it FINALLY went through. They also took forever to verify my fall 2017 transcript for microbiology after the grade came through. That didn't happen till after the deadline and I was concerned about that. Anyway, my stats are in the original post and we are pretty close! She definitely acted like there was a whole list she had yet to call for interviews. Best of luck!
  7. UPDATE! I called up there today and talked to a nice person named Jasmine. She is the person who actually calls the interviewees. I was just trying to find out if they'd called everybody yet since I still hadn't heard anything. She was nice enough to tell me that she had my name on her list to call this week and went ahead and scheduled the interview for me! SO RELIEVED!
  8. Thanks for clarifying! The lady I spoke with on the phone when I called said that acceptances go out around the last two weeks of March. Seems like forever to wait but oh well!
  9. I applied for fall too. When you guys say "science GPA" are you talking all sciences you've taken or just the pre reqs (A&P 1 and 2, micro)? I took a bunch of random sciences like geology and such back when I got my first (liberal arts) degree so not sure if those are factored in or not. I did just check and mine finally says "under review". Also - has anyone gotten an email from the school saying they've received your application or any communication at all? I have not and was thinking that was weird. I also applied to UT and they've been much more communicative. And since everyone is sharing, my overall GPA is 3.3 and I'm at a 4.0 on the pre reqs. My "overall science" GPA where we are throwing in various sciences from 17 years ago is more like a 3.5. And yes, this is a second career for me and I'm old!
  10. That's what she said on Friday... so I guess any day or within 2-3 weeks. Ha. Let me know if you or anyone you know hear from them!
  11. I'm sure if you have a great GPA you're set. My undergrad GPA is definitely the weakest part of my application and unfortunately seems to be the most important thing. Although I imagine the 3 science pre reqs are pretty crucial too. Anyway, the lady I emailed with on Friday said if I'm invited for an interview they would be in contact within 2-3 weeks. Which to me is super long to wait! Patience is not my strong suit. Ha. She said interviews are conducted over the month of February and decisions wouldn't be till later on in March. Ahhhhh
  12. I'm glad I'm not the only one! Did you apply anywhere else?
  13. Sounds like we are close and your chances may be a bit better! 3.3 is overall. Science gpa is a 3.43 if we're including all the sciences from my previous undergrad degree (liberal arts). That was 17 years ago... A&P I and II and Micro have all been a 4.0. I'm applying to the accelerated program. Not sure if that is harder or easier to get into than the regular track...
