I don't think that means your aren't accepted because my friends status was still saying under review after mines said accepted. I'm not sure how they are looking at the applications. Actually I am currently in an FNP program in Alabama but Ill be transfering. My graduate GPA so far is a 3.7 and my undergraduate was a 3.3. I didn't go to U of M. But I decided to transfer because I moved to this area and I wanted a school closer to home. I wouldn't be worried. I am sure that you will be accepted. I won't feel any relief until I actually get the letter.
Georgiapeachgal I am sure that you would be able to work during this program because you have the option of going part-time. They give you up to 5 years to complete the program.

I seriously believe without a doubt that this waiting period for me has been terrible! I hate being on pins and needles! Well, keep your fingers crossed for me (tight) :) I graduated in 01 with my ADN in another state and graduated from UofM in Spring 2013 with my BSN, BUT my overall is only a 3.03 but my last 60 hrs at the school was a 3.6 I think. I had 2 bad grades in general ed classes in the early 90's and dropped out of the classes leaving me with F's, and oh my goodness had I known it would have taken such a toll on my GPA and followed me like a credit score I would have never dropped out back then...but I made all A's and on B in my BSN classes and all B's in my ADN classes. I understand what you mean about seeing the letter though, I'd be the same way! Good luck and I will let you know either way as soon as I find out
Yes Ga peach, I have 3 friends who have graduated from UofM and they all worked :)
Good luck as well. We should have our letters sometime this week since Tuesday would be the 3 week mark. I am sure you will get accepted seeing that you did your BSN there. Do you plan to go full time or part-time?
Hopefully full-time, I'm a weekender at work so I'm off M-F to devote time to my studies and clinical time. But I'd be ok with part time to but my goal is to be finished within 3 years at the most. What about you? Are you working also and are you going full or part time? Did most of your classes transfer from the school in Alabama?
When I called Friday, the secretary said it would be the first week in Nov before letters were mailed out, I was like??? That's a lot longer than 3 weeks:nailbiting:
I am also a weekender and I plan to go part-time. All of my classes will transfer except my advanced health assessment course. And yes that is a lot longer then 3 weeks. The email specifically said that letters would be sent out 3 weeks after the due date for the application. When I spoke with the secretary she told me that it would be 3 weeks. I absolutely hate this waiting game.

Ladies you will learn Memphis moves at their own pace...and its normally really really really SLOW! Also they are never wrong it's always something you did! I love memphis and proud to have a degree from there in child development but they do live in their own little blue world!
I see!! I kind of figured that they werent looking at the applications all at once then making decisions. It looks like they are doing them a group at a time.
Unionnurse12 I saw another post were you said to check online. My online status says accepted. Do you think its safe to go by that?
@student_fnp2015 I'm not sure if that means to the graduate school or the nursing school. I'm not really sure how LSON does their acceptance. BUT if it is through the nursing admissions application system then it would be safe to say yes
