Hi. Is there anyone applying to the University of Memphis nursing program for Spring '14?
You shouldn't have a problem getting accepted with that GPA, its just you will be there longer than the nursing program length. That's why I went ahead and finished because I know I am going to want the time off during summer break. Don't quote me but I think you would have to finish all of your undergrad before the last semester of nursing. I know for a fact you would have to finish your undergrad for sure at some point.
Hi, I applied to the U of M for the spring 2014 Master degree (FNP) program. I haven't receive anything in the mail but I when i check the staus of my application online it says accepted. I contacted the office of graduate admissions and they said that it was correct I was accepted into the graduate school as well as the nursing program. But when I contacted the school of nursing they would only tell me that the letters would go out 3 weeks from the deadline.
I can't remember the exact date but my packet was completed a couple of days before the deadline. My application status was saying under review at that time. About a week after the deadline I received a letter from graduate admissions saying I was accepted to the school (U of M). I then checked the status of my nursing application on the nursing site and it said accepted. I wasn't for sure what this meant so I called the office of graduate admission and thats what I was told. I have two friends who applied and their still said under review until last wednesday and theirs now says accepted. One of them call the office of graduate admission like I did and was told the same thing that she was accepted into the university and the school of nursing. But I won't feel any relief until I get the actual acceptance letter in the mail.
Well, early congrats!! I turned mine in around the same time as yours. What was your GPA? Did you graduate from there with your BSN? Well it don't sound to good for me then as mine still says under review Of course I had my hopes up but I still will stay hopeful til I get something in the mail but I am ready to be rejected also, but I won't give up. I'm gonna keep applying and may apply through RODP for the University of Memphis.

@ DeLashae What was your GPA? And I still would have applied for the heck of it. It doesn't hurt to try! I wish you luck on your journey getting into nursing school.
