Hello, I was recently accepted into Loewenberg school for nursing. I just wanted to start a board for anyone that has any advice or tips on surviving nursing at the UofM and possibly just start communicating with one another as nursing students of the school. I will say that the program has changed a bit because I am starting out with only 14 credit hours and it was originally 17 hrs, with that being said, I am really excited about nursing school and anxious at the same time about what is to come. Congratulations to anyone that was accepted and good luck because it's about that time to hit the ground and starting running!!!
@kywoodrd: I am currently still on the, perfect nursing shoe hunt, lol. I have not been to Payless as of yet, but I will let you know what I get. I went to Woflchase Mall and I was very disappointed in there selection of shoes and shoe stores, so off I go!
The shoes were the last thing I needed (that I'm aware of). I am so excited and anxious for orientation.
Oh, and Identity Factor finished my scrubs today!!!
@kywoodrd: That is great news!! I knew they wasn't going to play around about your uniforms, and I did find some shoes, now let's see if they survive first semester clinical! I can't wait until school starts, but then nervous as well!! See you at orientation Monday. Oh, did you get a chance to read up on SNA to know if you want to join?

I didn't know about SNA, but I'll look it up online. I missed the 1st orientation back in November.
