Hi Yoli79,
For the TEAS exam if you have the TEAS V study guide it will help alot! It's basically the same format as the exams as well. I didn't study at all (took the TEAS V) for Texas Women's and scored higher then average. But I'm scheduled to take the TEAS V for UHV on the 21st. Study alot of general science and also chemistry.
As for the Nursing CAS - it's really confusing! I have one more transcript to turn into them and will be mailing my cpr and immunizations next week too. I actually had to get blood work done today to show proof that I'm immune to chicken pox! I couldn't find it in my medical records since it was so long ago.
Good lucK!
I didn't. I submitted and then kept checking to make sure they had received the transcripts. It took like 2-3 weeks before they showed and were evaluated. I was then told once you submit, sent all subsequent info directly to admissions ofc at Victoria. One of the advisors told me to fax. I sent my CPR via fax yesterday and had my last transcript from some summer classes at Lone Star sent directly there. I just have to fax my immunization records and I should be done.

Did any of you guys get a varicella titer for under $100? If so, where did you go? I don't have health insurance, so I'm looking around, and they're very expensive! If I don't find anything cheaper, I'll just have to suck it up and pay the cost.
Did you check the health departments in your city?

I bought the TEAS study guide. I thought the Math and English parts were pretty easy. As well as the Reading part. But, the Science is what I did the worst on. It has been a long time since I have had to use my sciences. I got my first degree 15 years ago!
So, I used the study guide to help me with a "brush up" on all my science. I would say it is pretty evenly distributed: Biology, A&P, Chemistry, etc.
Good luck!
