  1. Hi Pam, I think it depends on your study style. I prefer study alone, so I didn't have a study partner nor a group.
  2. The workshop information is posted on the ANCC website. The next one is on July 27th to 28th in Nashville, TN.
  3. I passed the board few days ago and would like to share how I prepared for the exam. ANCC review workshop - Recommended. I attended a two-day PMHNP review workshop hosted by the ANCC. We went through the entire exam content. The workshop gave me directions on where and how to begin studying for the exam. It's a rather expensive class, but it worth every penny. ANCC practice exam questions - Recommended. These are practice questions you purchase through the ANCC website. They are very similar to the actual exam. I bought both the PMHNP and PMHCNS for practice purpose. Again expensive, but worth the money. Barkley and Associates - Recommended. I brought the home study package and the CD sets on eBay. I studied the materials twice before I took the exam. Anccprep.com - I bought some of the practice questions which are nothing like the actual exam. COMPLETELY waste of money!
  4. I took mine on 6/20/2012, got all 265 questions and completely freaked out. Did the trick 3 hours after the exam and got the good pop up. And I did pass, the trick worked for me.
  5. I took mine on 6/20/2012. Got all 265 questions and completely freaked out. Anyone out there who are in this situation, you are not alone. Getting 265 questions doesn't mean that you fail, it just means that the computer thinks that you can pass. And yes, I did pass.
  6. I took my NCLEX on 6/20/2012, got all 265 questions, completely freaked out when I walked out the testing center. Did the trick 3 hours after the test and got the good pop up. Two days later I found out that I passed. The trick worked for me.
  7. I took my NCLEX on 6/20/2012, got all 265 questions, did the Pearvue trick 3 hours later and got the "contact Board of Nursing" pop-up. Check my result on 6/22/2012 and I passed! The trick works for me.
  8. I applied for Spring 2010 in May. Fill the apllication form online, pay the fee, send your transcripts and take the TEAS. Just the standard steps. The problems for CSUSM is that they never let you know your status. Not even an email saying they 've received your application, or something like "your application is under review" Make sure you call them time to time, to make sure they have you in the file. I sent my TEAS score twice, and they asked me to send it again. Finally I got an email saying I was accepted (6 months after), last night. But, I decided to go to Idaho last month, so someone may take my spot. Good luck to your application
  9. Just for an email saying that I was conditionally accepted. I m thinking to go or not because I already accepted by one in Idaho
  10. Hi guys, I am not accepted... but I was accpeted by another one in Idaho, so not too bad for me. Anyways, Good luck to all of you!! And no more waiting, no more worries, we are set. Thank you so so so much Winnie

  13. Thanks RWH, If I was really accepted, that would be the best Halloween gift I've ever received !!! The email was from Marian. Yes I would love to forward the email, but what's your email address? Winnie
  14. I got an email from the department saying I was accepted gor Spring 2010! But that's it, no further infomation was given. I am confused, am I really accepted?
  15. Future, I totally understand when you said your hands were shaking...when I opened my mailbox today , my heart beat so hard that i was like " am I getting a heart attack?" I am still waiting..but no matter accepted or not. I want to say thank you to all of you. This is a great place to share opinions, feelings, and worries. We've been through a tough year and the waiting game is finally over. Whatever the life path, I am sure you all will be great nurses!! RN rockssssssss
