University of Houston (UH) 2nd Degree BSN Spring 2023

Hi everyone! I didn't see a thread for the Spring 2023 class for UH Sugarland's 2nd Degree program so thought I'd go ahead and start it off. I currently have a Bachelor's in Marketing from UH and would love to hear from others who are applying as well.

Hello everyone! I am curious where everyone went to get their CPR certification done? I've heard some community colleges offer certification by American Hearts Assoc. but I'm not sure where specifically. I'm trying to see some options of where I can go to get that done. Thanks and Congratulations to everyone! I'm excited to work with everyone in January!

I found my location on the AHA website. It was RCHS EMS Academy, I believe they have a few locations throughout the area.

Hi! I got mine at Roxell EMT in Sugar Land and I definitely recommend them!! ?

I got mine from Roxell EMT as well but in Katy. Very straight forward and organized.

I completed mine through cardiox care in Katy. I think they have multiple locations throughout Houston area. It was very straight forward and efficient.
Also… would anyone be interested in joining/creating a facebook page  so we can all connect before we actually start?

How is everyone approaching all the vaccines/tests? Do you just take the list to your provider and show them everything you need? I am so nervous I’m going to miss something LOL
