Hi everyone! I didn't see a thread for the Spring 2023 class for UH Sugarland's 2nd Degree program so thought I'd go ahead and start it off. I currently have a Bachelor's in Marketing from UH and would love to hear from others who are applying as well.

Hello everyone,  I just received an email from identogo to schedule the fingerprint so it doesn't necessarily mean after oct 3. My assumption is everyone would be hearing soon too!

Hey guys, I’m a little confused and just want to make sure I do this correctly. For the bacterial meningitis vaccine, if we’re older than 22, we just have to upload proof of our age? Or do we still have to get the vaccine/ upload that form? The wording confused me LOL

Just upload your drivers license and you will be fine

Anyone know if we have to wait to get our UH email and ID before we get access to the clinical passport? That and I want to know what kind of aid they offer too

Hi everyone, 

I’m going to the uniform store next week and I’m trying to decide how many scrub sets to buy. How many of the embroidered ones are you all going to get? As well as the all black ones too? I don’t want to go too crazy and buy more than I need to but don’t want too many as well.

So the things you’re required to buy: scrub top, scrub pants, lab coat, sports set (tank top and shorts). Start off buying one, and if you need more you can buy them later.

 

As for the black scrubs, shoes, UH jacket, and school supplies. Totally your choice, you don’t have to buy it from them. I’m holding off, because it can get really expensive if you buy it all at once.

Thanks for your input. Everything is definitely already starting to get expensive ??

Also, does anyone remember what they said about the 3 series hepatitis b vaccine for castlebranch? Will they accept just the first 2 doses since the 3rd wouldn’t be until after the December deadline? I’m so nervous.

Yes the first 2 doses must be completed before the deadline. Did your titers come out negative for the hep b?

Yes, unfortunately. I was so bothered initially, but I guess it’s better to get the vaccine series instead of possibly getting infected by a patient haha

Hi! I’m in the current cohort and you for sure need to get the health assessment top and short, and the scrub top. You can wear any scrub pants as long as they are black and not the “jogger” style. The white lab coat is embroidered with the school’s info but tbh, we never actually needed them. I just took a pic in it for instagram and wish I had never got it LOL
