Hello there! I just wanted to start this thread to see if there were any people applying to the University of Florida for next fall for their nurse practitioner program? I am applying to the BSN to DNP specialty in Pediatric Acute Care. Anyone know how the current pandemic might affect the application process? Any current students that might want to share their experiences with application process, and the current state of the program? Thank you all in advanced, looking forward to hearing from you all and starting this journey.

Hey guys also got denied for Acute pedi full Time.... and also at the same time got notified my senior doggy has kidney disease ???? this sucks ?

Denied!  If it makes anyone feel better, I had a 4.0 too.  I’m fine with it.  Want to wait another year anyway, plans changed.

Denied here too. Mixed emotions but overall fine too. Good job to you and everyone who gave it their best!

I forget if I wrote.. but denied as well. For the FT DNP AGACNP track. I’m going to USF full time FNP. I’m happy if that’s the way it’s supposed to be!

I, too, was denied for the full time FNP track. I will say I am happy that I don’t have to go back to school until at least next fall. I was kind of worried I was rushing into this program anyways since I just graduated nursing school in August 2020. Good luck to all ?
