University of Florida DNP Fall 2021

Hello there! I just wanted to start this thread to see if there were any people applying to the University of Florida for next fall for their nurse practitioner program? I am applying to the BSN to DNP specialty in Pediatric Acute Care. Anyone know how the current pandemic might affect the application process? Any current students that might want to share their experiences with application process, and the current state of the program? Thank you all in advanced, looking forward to hearing from you all and starting this journey.

That’s kind of what I was trying to figure out but it seems not a single FT-FNP has heard unless there’s zero of the lucky ones on this forum so I honestly don’t know.

Did you make the video with yours? I wonder if many did? I tried my best to make mine and got a lot of laughs from it (they probably did too but not quite for the same reason LOL). I set my notifications up so at least I’m not checking 100x/day anymore. Tomorrow is Monday again...!

Hello! I just found this thread, I was accepted on May 12 for FNP full time!!

Can’t believe it’s been over a month now since we were supposed to find out and here most of us are, still waiting. And they told us in the official email it would be by May 31st, but then after the fact someone else here said that Mailing said it could be within the first week of June? IDK what to believe anymore.

May 31st falls within the first week of June, she could technically still be referring to that day. My coworker applied as well and today she showed me the email that Mailing responded to her saying admission decisions were STILL being processed, which is why they were being sent in batches.

I got impatient so I also emailed Mailing:
