University of Florida DNP Fall 2021

Hello there! I just wanted to start this thread to see if there were any people applying to the University of Florida for next fall for their nurse practitioner program? I am applying to the BSN to DNP specialty in Pediatric Acute Care. Anyone know how the current pandemic might affect the application process? Any current students that might want to share their experiences with application process, and the current state of the program? Thank you all in advanced, looking forward to hearing from you all and starting this journey.

I'm kinda getting tired of this. I mean I already was but just annoyed now. I'm in the middle of a move with two under four, birthday is coming up for the three yearold, works been kickin' my butt working overtime at that. This decision determines if I start travel nursing as well. They need to just get on it. This whole sending in batches is asinine. I don't understand it all. Sorry for the rant but I've been pretty damn patient LOL ?

I understand. It’s getting annoying. I emailed Mailing and asked when our decisions would be emailed and she said first week of June or sooner.

I am new to this thread and trying to get caught up, but I was just accepted into the PMHNP program starting Fall 2021!  I am going to make a facebook group to have a place that the PMHNP students can all go to and get help/advice or just vent! I did this with my undergrad nursing class and it was great being able to help each other get through all of these admission requirements and classes!  If you want to join, please feel free to search the group. It is called "University of Florida Fall 2021 PMHNP Program".  I hope everyone that is waiting patiently gets their acceptance letters soon!

Hey! Congratulations! When/what time did you receive the email? And what’s your deadline to accept? I hope I’m one of the lucky PMHNP too! ?

I submitted my application 3/1/21 and got my acceptance letter on Wednesday May 12th at exactly 5:22PM !  The deadline to accept my spot and pay my $200 deposit is May 28th.  I hope you get one of the spots too! ?
