University of Florida DNP Fall 2021

Hello there! I just wanted to start this thread to see if there were any people applying to the University of Florida for next fall for their nurse practitioner program? I am applying to the BSN to DNP specialty in Pediatric Acute Care. Anyone know how the current pandemic might affect the application process? Any current students that might want to share their experiences with application process, and the current state of the program? Thank you all in advanced, looking forward to hearing from you all and starting this journey.

I applied part time FNP..nothing yet. My residence info hasn't even been updated like some people's have so I am started to feel that means a denial is coming my way. 

For people who've been accepted? Does your last name begin with the beginning of the alphabet? Also was your residence info updated?

Same. My residence status hasn’t been updated so I feel a denial letter is coming my way too. I applied acute pediatric care full time and haven’t heard anything.

Got an email back from Mailing saying decisions are being sent out in batches and we should hear by the first week of June or sooner...: ?

Hi! I think the decisions are staggered at random. My last name is at the end of the alphabet, but I have been accepted. I wouldn't think the residency status affects the application itself. Mine still says undetermined.
