University of Florida DNP Fall 2021

Hello there! I just wanted to start this thread to see if there were any people applying to the University of Florida for next fall for their nurse practitioner program? I am applying to the BSN to DNP specialty in Pediatric Acute Care. Anyone know how the current pandemic might affect the application process? Any current students that might want to share their experiences with application process, and the current state of the program? Thank you all in advanced, looking forward to hearing from you all and starting this journey.

I’m right there with you. I feel so defeated and heartbroken. My hope is that the emails are staggered. I’m just so sad. I hate being told that I’m not good enough.

I feel the same way. Just remember you are good enough it just might not be the right time. That’s what I am telling myself. I am just kicking myself for only applying at Florida. I figured my glowing recommendations, essay and resume would have them overlook my GPA. I shouldn’t have partied so much my Freshman year. (Sorry, I deflect with humor. )  fingers crossed my nursing sisters!

I'm also praying all of my application overlooks my GPA. I had kickass references so hoping it carries weight. I really really hope they were staggered. I applied FNP I did not see any FNP acceptances on here at least. So here's to hoping.

If y’all are getting acceptance emails you need to tell us what the exact time was the email came through LOL. Some of us are still waiting!

Agree!! Please let us know when y’all are receiving these emails and the time they are coming in. We are still waiting and are stressed LOL

This is terrible. Wish they batched the e-mails at once. To those losing hope... don't! I looked at last years message board and people were staggered between three days. 

 

Has anyone contacted Mailing yet asking when all emails will be sent out and if we'll receive an email definitively telling us we did not get in ?

 

 

Also, is it only part time people that have gotten emails so far?
