Hello there! I just wanted to start this thread to see if there were any people applying to the University of Florida for next fall for their nurse practitioner program? I am applying to the BSN to DNP specialty in Pediatric Acute Care. Anyone know how the current pandemic might affect the application process? Any current students that might want to share their experiences with application process, and the current state of the program? Thank you all in advanced, looking forward to hearing from you all and starting this journey.
Hey everyone! Also waiting anxiously to hear about decisions.
As a way of distraction, I went back through the program's website for the millionth time to see if I could find any new information. I applied for the peds primary care track wishing that they offered a dual peds primary & acute care track. Well to my surprise, I noticed that in the track listing, there is now a dual peds option!! Am I crazy? Did I totally and completely miss this somehow? Did anyone else notice it before applying or is it newly listed? I emailed Mailing to ask for more information but I'm going to feel SO silly if it was there the whole time!! ?

I feel bad for y’all having to put other schools on hold. That’s gotta be agonizing everyday. If I were in a similar position I would be stressing. But I only applied to UF so I’m just waiting. I’m kind of enjoying the time of not knowing because once we find out then life changes—whether you get in or don’t. I’m enjoying life right now with not knowing.
