Hi everyone- I recently heard back from CU- Denver about the women's health NP program and I have an interview in August. Any body else out there with interviews and/or any feedback from current or past students of the program regarding the interview process for any of the NP programs? Thanks!!

This is feedback from other students that were interviewed. Many have told me they were basically grilled, intimidated and talked down to during the interview. They walked away from the interview feeling very sad that they were treated that way. Would like to hear your feedback after your interview.

Hi. Congratulations on getting in! I will start in the Spring semester. If you don't mind answering, I do have a question about the clinicals. The schedule says 45 hours of practicum for advanced health assessment; since we find our own preceptors can I do the 45 hours on my own time (as long as I do it within the semester)? I mean, I want to finish all 45 hours in say 2 weeks (if the preceptor agrees of course) and then just focus on the lecture/online assignments afterwards. Is that possible?

Instead of a practicum, I am going to the university and doing the assessment lab from 5:00-8:00 pm on Wednesday's for 15 weeks. Let me know if I can help answer questions.

I was accepted for Spring 2017 FNP class at UCCS!! Did you hear if you got in?

For those of you that started in the Fall... would love to hear any tips from you, lessons learned, etc.
