I applied for the Fall for the FNP Program. Anyone applying to UCCS as well?

Hi Everest!

The online program is nice- very flexible, HOWEVER, time consuming. The first classes aren't horrible, but once you start getting into patho and clinicals, it becomes very busy. Lots of reading. Lots of self teaching. Discussion boards, usually a paper or project and again, lots of reading. I like the program a lot and have always enjoyed the support I get from the professors and ancillary staff (Diane is amazing).

Thank you for replying! Apparently I have not created enough posts to private message people :) Are you in the full time or part time program? I am a school nurse at the moment and was thinking of continuing to work part time which would be 3, 8 hour days a week. Do you think that seems reasonable given the work load? Good luck in the program!!
