Hello everyone 

I wanted to start a forum for those who will be applying to the UCSD New Grad program March 2025

applications opened yesterday and this would be a place for everyone to keep each other updated on the process!

Just got an email they are moving forward with other candidates 😞

Still have 2E IMU/PCU open has anyone heard anything im still holding some hope. 

Have an application in at Sharp as well, so just hoping maybe can get in there. I know the San Diego market is so competitive

I'm sorry. I am also waiting on 2E IMU/PCU it's still under referred for me.

It was for La Jolla ED. I had my interview Thursday and received a phone call the next day on Friday. However, I was told that it could take up to 3 weeks to get a phone call. I am very excited and cannot believe I got it. I am waiting until I sign to celebrate:)

For clarification, I do not know anybody within the UCSD system. A lot of my friends applied and some have way more experience working as CNA, MA, etc. However, they didn't get an interview at all. The only difference is that I am already enrolled in a BSN and they are not. Maybe that was a factor?

I remember you asking about your chances because you didn't have your RN yet or hadn't taken the NCLEX yet? So good for you! you did it they were obviously very impressed with you. As soon as you get that offer you celebrate! You are going to get wonderful experience and you broke through a very difficult labor market. You should be very proud 🙂

Thank you so much! I am definitely very happy. I just tend to overthink too much when it comes to myself, I just want to receive the papers from HR hahaha

Dang... let's hope that they're just taking their time. I know from past forums that they reach out later than others

Finally, my last application went from being referred to others to being more competitive, for IMU/PCU. I can finally move on haha

I did. Received an offer letter last Thursday. But from my past experience, units do vary and the process is extremely slow. I didn't think I was going to get an interview!
