Hello everyone,

I did not see a conversation on UCLA MECN 2024. This is a topic for everyone who has applied to the MECN program for 2024! Good luck everyone, I am getting a little nervous. We should get acceptance letters by mid-February!

I was thinking the same thing as well but I'm to scared to get my hopes up LOL but wishing everyone the best! ✨

You're gonna get in ?

I think up to 15 students get off the waitlist, or very least 10. So consider yourself in, congrats!

I feel exactly this.. both excited and anxious... I'm just hoping to hear something tomorrow!?

I was waitlisted as well, #1!! I kind of feel like I was accepted but also nervous to get my hopes up too much!

Congratulations to everyone who has been accepted or waitlisted. No emails, no change in portal. I can't help but refresh the page every 15 minutes. The anxiety is off the roof for me right now. Yikes!

This process has been soo strange! Denials are still being given today ?? I got mine this morning. BUT everything happens for a reason? Congratulations to everyone who got accepted and was able to get on the waitlist as well!!

Hello,

Im #12! Hoping the best and that all my fellow alternate PALS are able to get a chance in the cohort. A win for one of us is a win for all. Sending the best vibes for everyone in this purgatory stage. Congrats to everyone who got accepted as well. For the people who received denials, I know other opportunities can come for us all as long as we seek. Sending my love! What are some hobbies aside from work/school/spending time with loved ones that have been keeping everyone anchored? Could use some ideas aside from working out and meditating and reading. Might pick up knitting or embroidery floss bracelet making again. ? I want to hear everyone's cool hobbies.

Congrats to those who've gotten on the wait list. Would you mind sharing when and around what time you received emails? Was there a portal update? 
I have not received any email or portal update. Did anyone get an acceptance letter yet?
