  1. They don't ever tell you what number you are on the waitlist. I was waitlisted last year as well.
  2. Yes! I got an email to check my portal. I was waitlisted but it's okay, I committed to another school already.
  3. They are now notifying waitlisted ppl about any available spaces. I just got an email.
  4. Yes. My undergrad GPA is 3.7. Got a bachelors in public health. In regards to my prerequisites, I had to retake anatomy and physiology I, I went from a D to a B. I got a C in the second part. Other than that, they were all A's. I am a CNA, took a phlebotomy course, had over 300 hrs of volunteer in the OB GYN department at the county hospital during high school. Did like 3 internships during undergrad, and last Summer did an internship at a community clinic for 100hrs and worked as an MA. I currently work as a behavioral therapist at a high school with special ED kids. My letter of recommendations were written by an LVN who supervised me when I worked as a CNA, the MD I shadowed during my internship last Summer as a medical assistant, and the teacher that I work for at the high school. I unfortunately did not build connections with any professors so I asked one of my recommenders to talk about me academically since she would see me study and do hw during my lunch break and so on. I also think my personal statement and statement of purpose were very strong, really talk about who you are, where you are coming from and why you wanna be a nurse, I hope that helps?
  5. I checked right after and omggg I also got in!!’ I'm so excited yet in shock!! Yet I'm still self sabotaging myself and thinking this is all a dream LOL So excited to meet you all in the fall! Congratulations to yall!! ❤️
  6. I think that if both would take you the same amount of years just go with the cheaper option.
  7. Thank you for the information. Now we need to be stressed for another week LOL
  8. I feel like turning off my phone, I truly thought I would hear back by today and now I'm nervous as I keep checking my portal and emails.
  9. I have not received any updates at all and my portal looks the same. Hopefully we hear something soon, has anyone gotten an acceptance letter?
  10. I haven't heard back either. Is this the first time that UCLA releases decisions like this? Based on previous years, everyone heard back at the same time.
  11. I was thinking the same thing as well but I'm to scared to get my hopes up LOL but wishing everyone the best! ✨
