I had seen a discussion thread last year for students who applied to UCI's MEPN program and I found the comments really helpful. Maybe by connecting we can see when invitations to interview are sent out. ? I did see that UCI was expanding its MEPN program this year which is exciting!

In addition to the call they also sent an email out. They mentioned they have a waitlist at the moment. It seems the current process underway is 1] get official confirmation from first wave candidates, 2] if offer is declined by candidated, open up offer to second wave of candidates.

What do you mean you got a call? Do they really tell you over the phone? I would have thought an acceptance would only be given formally- by mail or email. No?

I wonder if this waitlist is separate from the "official" waitlist? I thought they also email applicants who are placed on the waitlist...
I haven't heard anything back. My last name start with an R. Sucks when you get an interview and don't hear back.
Mine starts with R as well! Hoping they haven't made it to our part of the alphabet yet...
