I had seen a discussion thread last year for students who applied to UCI's MEPN program and I found the comments really helpful. Maybe by connecting we can see when invitations to interview are sent out. ? I did see that UCI was expanding its MEPN program this year which is exciting!
A little about me-I am pursuing nursing at the mid stages of my life. I have a degree in Health Education and Health Promotion and community health nursing is my aspiration! Hope we can connect!
I am also throwing my hat into other degree programs- CSUF, Golden West, Saddleback, Vanguard. Basically anywhere that fits my goals and budget ?
Just want to provide an update for those who were waitlisted for the first priority deadline (November). I saw the above comment and decided to check my portal (received an email regarding portal update). I noticed that I got off the waitlist and was offered admission. All of us on here will turn out to be wonderful nurses regardless of where we go. I wanted to see if UCI would take me back given it was where I completed my undergraduate. I already committed to UCLA two months ago - likely will stick with the school that chose me from the very beginning. This should free a space for someone.

Thanks for the update! Congrats on both admissions!! I'm a first round applicant who was waitlisted and not sure how to check my portal update, did they send you an email to look at your status?
Yes, (MODERATOR EDIT) from UCI School of Nursing sent out the email. I received the notification today at 3:00pm to check the portal. Log into the portal where we submitted the graduate application - that was where I saw the update.

Congrats!! Is it under the "Status Information" of the application portal? I'm a first round application and still haven't heard anything accept/waitlist/deny?
