I'd like to start a thread to keep updated with everyone's timeline from "Application Received" to "Hired" or anything in between. I didn't see a post and wanted to start one. 

Hey everyone!

Just posting an update for reference. Called on 5/22 to interview, interviewed on 5/24, told I would hear back within a week at the latest if I am considered, heard back today on 5/30 with a reference request. They give you 48hrs to submit references, and 72hrs for each of your references to complete a survey.

How many references did they ask for?

For those getting the references request, does this mean that you would get the position for sure?? Anybody knows anyone in the past getting the reference request but not the job?

I applied twice for a different position two years ago and got up to reference checks twice in two diff occasions. I did not get an offer until my third panel interview for that same job so unfortunately it is definitely possible it isn't guaranteed!

I didn't unfortunately because I had just gotten into nursing school at that time but I sent an email stating that reason and saying that I'd hope to work with them again in the future in a different capacity 🙂

Oh man! What position did you apply? I think they should offer the job for those getting the reference request. Five of them take a lot of effort😂

Yeah I think once they send out the reference checks and those people do the survey who knows 😂 but IDK I had the same people each time so maybe they also could have hired enough during that time. The panel interviews for that was all scenario based and I agree with the person who just interviewed that it's so vital to know the mission etc!

Five interviews! That's a bit much, and I wonder why they do this. Do you guys happen to know if they all need to reply?

Has anyone gotten any word from any of the adult ICUs? UC Davis has several ICUs, and I'm wondering if they are being offered this time around. My application continues to be Under Review, so I can't tell what that means at this point.

Hey, so for the reference checks, all 5 references receive a survey and all 5 must complete it within 72hrs. They don't specify who/when but references are also subject to be contacted by phone.

I noticed that my application now says Routed for Further Consideration. Not sure how long it has been that way since I haven't checked in 2 weeks. Hopefully I get a call!
