I applied with a 3.72, so I’m not sure why they put me on the waitlist right away! What GPA did you apply with?

From what I read on the September 2019 thread for the transfer route, the cut off was something like 3.8, therefore it's more competitive than the degree holder route. Additionally, from what I understand, there are fewer spots for transfer students than degree holders.

Also someone asked me earlier how many people applied this year, I didn't think to ask, sorry! Would have been a smart question. ?

Last time I called admissions office, she said they are accepting 3.7 and higher for transfer students, so I’m not sure if the GPA increased or what

have you heard back from them??

Yeah admissions told me the same thing. Unless the gpa is higher or the spots have already filled, thats a bit odd you're on the waitlist. And also I applied with a 3.58

I've been told they review applications on a rolling basis. When I applied back then I had a 3.87 but I didn't get a response until the last week of October. When I called them early October they said they haven't even reviewed my file yet. Stay patient and hopeful!

Do you mean September or Oct?

Thank you! I'm an international student so the province doesn't really matter to me ?

Hey guys, they actually made a mistake calculating my GPA so that’s why they put me on waitlist, but I got accepted today with a. 3.72 !! ?
