Did they give you a reason for why the cancelled your application?

I don't think anyone gets rejection letters until the waitlists are disabled on December 15th.

Anyone know of anyone getting in with less than a 3.56 for degree holders? I'm feeling like all the spots are about full and have mostly lost hope with my 3.53.

Have you asked them what the likelihood of them going down to 3.52 would be? I'm at a 3.53 in the degree holder waitlist and seeing them go down to 3.56 is stressful!

The transfer route is for students who have not completed a degree. Degree holder route is only for students who have completed their degree. If you do have a degree, I would suggest calling admissions to discuss why you were put on the transfer route waitlist!

From what I read on the September 2019 thread for the transfer route, the cut off was something like 3.8, therefore it's more competitive than the degree holder route. Additionally, from what I understand, there are fewer spots for transfer students than degree holders. Also someone asked me earlier how many people applied this year, I didn't think to ask, sorry! Would have been a smart question. ?

I knew I was on the waitlist because I checked my application status online through the ucalgary portal. However, I did call admissions yesterday and they said it isn't like a numerical waitlist where they take one person off at a time. They take blocks of people off the waitlist at a time based on GPA range. Currently they're still evaluating applications, so if you haven't been put on the waitlist or accepted, they haven't gotten to your application yet. They have 78 spots for the degree holder route, and they've sent out around 20 offers and have gone through about half of the applicants. Right now they are accepting 3.67 and above. The lady I spoke with said around the end of October, into November is when I can expect to hear back if I get the good news.

3.57, I know a girl who got in with a lower GPA last year, so I'm still hopeful

I just checked my current admission decision and it says I've been waitlisted.

Mine is blank as well, I'm applying with a 3.57. Can't wait to just find out and be able to sleep in peace again ?
