University of Arizona CRNA 2020

Published

Hey All,

I figured I would create this topic in order to start the conversation / share information related to the 2020 University of Arizona CRNA program interviews, acceptance, etc. I personally submitted my application at the end of July and have yet to hear anything, although this is not particularly surprising given that the application cycle only closed yesterday. I will post updates here as soon as I have them...please feel free to reply with our own experience as well!

Was it an acceptance or waitlist etc?

Didn’t get in ? nothing new lol these programs are crazy competitive

I got in, but I need to decide by 11-4

Congrats! At least someone got in lol any tips for the interview that you can give us? Any insight on your responses?

I don’t see a “but” here. I would have already reply with a yes and credit card information. If you still have buts about the school, I would kindly ask to pass and give other people the opportunity. I’m sure there is an alternate list somewhere.

Rejected! And it feels awful!

Did anyone get a waitlist for admission? Or has it all been yes or no?...maybe there is still hope?

Yes it does feel awful I share your pain! Mine was just straight up rejection anyone on a waitlist?

I got Waitlisted. It looks like I have to work on my interviews skills more ?. Next time will be better.

Good luck to the rest of you.

I had a video interview and I went in very confident, kept my answers short and sweet, and by the end of the interview the main interviewer was trying to convince me to go their program.

Wow you just be so amazing!!! Please show all of us how to be like you!!! HAHA ?

Just keep applying and improving. Ask for feedback. I asked for feedback and they said I nailed the interview, essay and my resume apparently blew them away.

The only reason they didn’t accept me was my GPA was too low and the lowest the took in was a 3.8 (or at least the average) So heavily gpa based. It was at the bottom of my preferences but hopefully one of the upcoming interviews will work out ?
