The next class starting June 2021 will be the last masters cohort, they are also admitting their first DNP cohort. So I am not sure if that means they are admitting twice as many students or if they will still admit 34 and split? I don't think they require recommendations but they will definitely help. They dont require CCRN or shadowing either but those will probably help too if you want to get in.

Rejected! And it feels awful! Did anyone get a waitlist for admission? Or has it all been yes or no?...maybe there is still hope?

I am interviewing later this week, but it is killing me there is not a lot of info out there about the program. The website is very vague, I can't find any curriculum or anything! I'll let you know what I find out at the interview.

Science GPA 3.8 overall 3.53, 1 year ICU, ACLS Instructor (plus PALS, BLS), CCRN (obviously, that is required) Phi Theta Kappa, Sigma Theta Tau, Student Nurse Association vice president.

CLEnurse14 is right, dont lose hope. And really the only place to get reliable info is directly from Midwestern. Call and ask them about your application ?

I have heard they were selecting top 60 applicants based on science GPA so thats probably true. Maybe there are science classes you could take or re-take online to give you a boost?

I have shadowed but the nursing CAS application did not ask for any shadowing forms or mention it whatsoever. Did they say how they count shadowing? by hours?
