heyyyyy! Who all is applying to University of Arizona DNP CRNA this cycle? Any current students have thoughts about the hybrid format and traveling clinical sites? I heard the faculty is wonderful!
Job opportunities for my husband are better-and we love outdoorsy stuff (mountain biking etc) and I honestly love the programs! A few of the CA ones would be a dream although cost of living would he high and AZ is the best of all worlds—rotating clinical sites with strong faculty & CRNA friendly clinical
I spent a good bit of time on the east coast but fell in love with the west. East coast and PA have some great programs though! If my husband liked FL I would have applied—-soooo many programs
Did you apply to lots of east coast schools?
I see!! Well that makes sense. I know CA is sooo expensive, cost of living, practically everything ? I have an interview with a school of Indians this Saturday? Honestly, I just want to get in anywhere. I don’t care where!
Florida has soooo many. I mean tons!! I was surprised that Penn also has many programs as well.
Thank you so much? It honestly gets very dark…. I’ve been rejected 4 times already! I get very nervous in interviews which is such a shame because I’m very outgoing, but when you have an interview panel dictate your future (to get in or not), it gets dark. You start feeling not good enough you know? I hope we get in!??

Have you tried doing mock interviews with anyone? There are a few CRNA's that have programs you can pay for to help with getting into school too. If you have not done this already; print out several interview questions that would be for jobs and CRNA school specific and write out your answers to all of these. That way when you are on the spot you have already put pen to paper so you are not fumbling for answers. Honestly, see if any friends or family could be your "mock" interview panel so you break that nervous part in the interview process. You could read your responses out loud too, like make a video of yourself and record so you can be aware of your body language presence and overall demeanor. BREATHE is a good thing too. Take like a 10 second pause and just think of your responses.
This is your year! All of those past interviews have just prepared you for the right fit ❤️ And aaah yes I’m nervous but also excited for the opportunities to interview—this is my first application cycle and I’m nervous haha!
I did a mock with Bolt CRNA and it was really helpful—brushing up on pharmacology and reviewing CCRN content now to prep—I have like three weeks until the first interview then they kinda kick in for late October-November. From previous years most of my programs look like they’re fairly heavily content based with some emotional intelligence questions mixed in

Love that you have the stats! If we get interview invites that’ll provide perspective and gratitude to make it that far ❤️ For the 18 spots I wonder how many they interview—-
