I finally secured my references. Anyone else having difficulties? I have been doing travel assignments and my prior employer was not happy with most of us that left and won’t give references now. Oooo well LOL. My friend interviewed with u of a a year ago and said it was very clinical heavy, but she turned down the spot. Good luck to all of us !
Traveler here, waiting on all my references to complete the forms. Current manager at my assignment said they’ll fill it out. In typical ICU nurse fashion waiting for something out of my hands is the hardest part of the application cycle ? Are you an AZ local? I’ve heard such good things about the program
Yeah I feel the same ! I want to be I charge of everything and I feel so helpless LOL! Yes I live in AZ. It’s sucks there is only two schools out here, but I am also applying to some schools in Texas and Florida.

I’m also applying! Have y’all heard anything about the actual interview process as to whether it’s more clinical or personality based?
I heard both University of Az and Midwestern are pretty clinical from previous cycles. Not sure whether interviews will be in person or zoom this year!
My friends interviewed for both and they said u of a is mostly personally, but Midwestern is mixed with clinical and personal questions.

UofA is more personality based questions per my experience. I LOVE the program so much, the faculty teaches you how to incorporate humility with intelligence and assertiveness professionally.
I love how heavy the sciences are! which I prefer to be honest. as long as you are not a d*ck, a**hole, or cocky, you should be fine.
I met a lot of ICU nurses in the past who are not aware of their know-it-all and cocky attitude. for some reason, seasoned CRNAs like UofA’s faculty have a great eye looking out for those kind of people.
good luck! its a great program!
Thank you for you input and opinion. I really really want a heavy science based program. I want to geek out on it LOL.
Wow, thanks to ALL that replied! (Sorry for not replying earlier. Was working). This information puts me at ease. I really appreciate all your guys’ input, and to those in the program who gave some details ? I can’t wait! Hope everyone is doing well??
