Unitek Bakersfield BSN Program

Hi my name is Maria, I'm currently in the process for applying to Unitek in Bakersfield. I'm simply posting to see if anyone else was in the same boat.

I was wondering what your stats (GPA, TEAS score) were when you applied to Unitek in Bakersfield?

When I applied for Unitek Bakersfield my GPA is 3.8 and TEAS score is 63% and I graduated from Unitek Fremont for my LVN.

Im also looking to apply. I was told the first year would be all online.

I think first year included all the GE classes.

The first year is all online, but do to covid I am not sure when the campus will be opening up again for year two and three.

Hi Mimi. Were you able to start? How long until you they let you enroll? I finished my pre requisites on Monday. I was hoping to start the part time evening in November for lvn.

Im suppose to start October 12th, but I hear from them about acceptance into the program two weeks prior to that date.

So you won't hear back after acceptance until 2 weeks before your start date?

Its been awhile since I’ve heard from them, but maybe its due to the changes from Covid.

I applied once at the Bakersfield campus. I was accepted Monday the program started in August. The cost was increased for the first semester, but the overall cost wasn’t increased. the Bakersfield Program is less than the northern campus programs. I am in the AP path for the BSN.

I finished my prerequisites that they wanted me to retake the term before the Program started. They didn’t tell me until the day off the start date of the program.
