I know several that went thru the program. Biggest issue is that the license will only be good in CA, you can never use it out of state, you will be unable to endorse to another state, as it will not meet their educational requirements.
You would be much better off doing a bridge program that is acceoted across the country, you never know what will haoeen later on.

I have a question for you in regards to the 30 unit RN program. Is it possible to do the 30 unit RN, and continue on to do a RN - BSN program? If this is done, will it be recognizable in states other than CA?
Thanks. :)

The nursing program I am currently in offers the 30-unit option. We have 4 LVN's that started in our program during 3rd semester. They all are doing great and one of the girls is already getting applications ready for Cal state Fullerton which has a diploma RN-BSN program; check it out.
As far as working out of state - passing the NCLEX-RN allows you to work in most every state in the US - if you are eligible by your school to take it.

Because this program is only offered in California, the option is only valid in california. Other states will not accept it. Usually they will make you take the prereqs you didn't take, and you will have to take the exam again in their state. So, if moving out of state is a possibility for you, I would suggest taking the prereqs.
As far as LVN equivalent to RN pay, that's not going to happen because they have more education than an LVN and have more job opportunities and therefore, are higher in demand than an LVN (unfortunately).
