Union University 2019

Nursing Students SRNA

Published

Anyone applying? Just have a few more things to get done then I will submit my application. I have never used Nursing CAS before but kinda like it to apply to the school. Priority deadline is October 15th.

So I've seen interviews posted for the 12th, 13th, 14th, and 15th so far. I know in a previous post of mine that Union said the interviews would be the 12th through the 16th. I wonder how many people will be interviewing? There are a total of 28-30 spots looking back at previous threads and the Anesthesia Assitant told me 30 for this class. There are also 3 interview periods as well. I wonder how many will get selected with the priority deadline interviews. I would hate to get waitlisted and have to wait until the very end to find out if I'm in or not.

I agree, this is also something that I was curious about, but there's probably no way of finding out. I'm with you though, that wait would be agonizing, it would essentially be not knowing where your fate lies. I have a feeling that several will be waitlisted until all interviews have been done though. Maybe not, but we will see soon enough. It also makes me wonder if there were not as many interviews as expected, and that maybe they aren't interviewing at all on the 16th. But it could also be that no one that is interviewing on the 16th has seen this forum or simply elected not to make it known that they are interviewing on the 16th. Who knows..

A current student i know applied 2 days before the final deadline. Got an interview, was offered a spot the next day.

Crazy huh?

I kind of do wish priority applicants actually received priority. But I'm sure many will be waitlisted while they evaluate their choices.

That promising that someone found out the next day! I looked and the school is closed the week after interviews for Thanksgiving holiday. So I figured we wouldn't find out until the following week. I can always keep my fingers crossed we find out the same week! That would be amazing!!

Agreed! It should definitely be beneficial to apply early, but it doesn't seem to be. It's alright though , if it's meant to be it will definitely happen, that is all that I can keep telling myself.

Although I would love to find out the same week, I'm trying not to get too excited. I have noted, most of those that have found out the next day or two after interviews had seemingly interviewed with the third rounds. So I almost want to believe that they found out that soon solely because there was no one else to interview and everyone that was going to be considered had already been interview. That won't be the case for us, as there will be two more rounds of interviews, but let's definitely remain hopeful! Maybe we will get calls on Friday!

I know this is off topic with Union, but did you get an interview or get into Gonzaga. I remember that you had your application in way before I did.

Interviews are in a week. Does everyone feel like they have prepared well for the interview?

As prepared as I'm gonna be! I'm still confused as to what someone meant by if we get an interview, we get in. They have to be interviewing more than the class size, right?
