Anyone applying? Just have a few more things to get done then I will submit my application. I have never used Nursing CAS before but kinda like it to apply to the school. Priority deadline is October 15th.
As prepared as I'm gonna be! I'm still confused as to what someone meant by if we get an interview, we get in. They have to be interviewing more than the class size, right?
I don't think so. Haha. Stay positive that's what she/he meant I think. Because what's the point of interview if everyone gets interview invite, will get in ?!?!?!?! Lol
So I looked back to last years thread and saw that people that interviewed during the first interview found out the next week on Monday. So hopefully we will know on the 19th if they keep the same schedule as last year.
Someone said something about Union going on Thanksgiving break the entire week after interviews.. Not completely sure if that's true, but who knows. Also, I have yet to actually hear anyone say that they interview on Friday. Interviews are supposedly the 12-16th, but I'm starting to think that no one is actually interviewing on the 16th. So my hope is that they will start calling as early as next Friday! Lol. This is not factual info, I'm just saying that I hadn't seen anyone say that they interview on Fri, so it's just wishful thinking lol.

Yes, Union will be on Thanksgiving break the week after we interview but they also went on Thanksgiving break the week after the previous class interviewed as well. I hope your idea of them going over the interviews on Friday is what will happen and then making calls on Friday or Monday. I have one more night of work, then the weekend (Go Pokes, Beat Oklahoma), then on to Jackson for the interview.
Are you able to find any info about the Clinical Affiliations ? I don't see any on their website ?
I don't think they share all of the hospitals that they are affiliated with. I think that is something that they further discuss in orientation once people are admitted. I know that is something that varies with each school, but I've never seen any information that they have listed specific to the facilities that they work with.
From the 2018 Student Handbook.
Currently the program has 16 clinical sites, which include rotations to hospitals located in various cities in Tennessee (Jackson, Memphis, Bartlett, Nashville), Arkansas (West Memphis), Mississippi (Corinth, DeSoto, Greenwood), and Kentucky (Paducah, Murray).
Another section said there were 20 sites in Tennessee, Mississippi, and Kentucky.

Yes, there will definitely be maybe triple the amount of interviews as there are available seats. Maybe even much more than that being that there are three different interview periods. I think she was maybe speaking in terms of simply thinking positive and being optimistic, that would be my guess.
