Not exactly true. Union is credentialed through 2022. An issue would arise with credentialling and being accredited if they are unable to hire new faculty. Hence is why a teach-out method is being discussed. If they don't have faculty, they don't meet the guidelines that the credentialing body expects the school to follow. & if Union did lose credentials as a result of no faculty, it would actually go into effect this year, rather than 2021. If new faculty are hired, credentials will be retained, and re-credentialing would still occur in the expected year of 2022. Credentialing is done every 10 years, unless a major change occurs, which is now the case, and that may be why you're hearing that rumor.

Just out of curiosity, I know this is a Christian school, but is anyone applying that isn’t super religious?

Don't allow that to be a concern. Just be honest about your situation. They want to know about your faith, but I certainly would not say that it is a deal-breaker if you express that you aren't a Christian believer. Just be transparent. If you're working on yourself, say that. If you are unsure about religion, but curious and wanting to learn, just say that. Honesty would be appreciated much more than your religion or lack thereof. But to answer your question, not everyone is "super religious". While the majority are Christian believers, not everyone in the program is.

I actually grew up Christian but I basically curse like a sailor and occasional drink. I think the community guidelines I had to sign are making me overthink a bit. Thank you for the encouragement.
