Union University CRNA fall 2021

I applied to Union University for the fall of 2021. This is my number 1 choice of program. Stats:

Total GPA: 3.61

Experience: 2.5 MSICU

Preceptorship

CCRN

Is there anyone else applying to this program for fall 2021? What are your stats? when should we expect to hear back from faculty regarding interview?

I just applied as well, hoping there’s still spots available.

I had a scenario question then others were EI questions and get to know you.

Anyone interview today? If so how do you think it went? I interviewed today and I honestly don’t know how to feel. It went pretty fast!

I have my interview tomorrow! I feel like it’ll go by quick as well. The email said it’ll only be 20 min. What kinds of questions were you asked if you don’t mind me asking.

Yeah I interviewed today as well and not sure how it went. I've read people felt well about the interview in previous post and not get in and then the opposite. So not sure about it. Good news about Union is they let you know fairly quickly.

I completely agree! I’m trying not to think about it too much but I guess because I spent so much time preparing and was asked maybe 5 questions in total, I don’t know how to feel. Well, now we wait.......

Good luck! It went well. 20 mins goes by pretty quickly. Mostly personality questions and one scenario.

I had my interview. I don’t think it went well. I guess I had higher expectations because I’ve heard such good things about their interviews. But I didn’t feel as “welcomed” as everyone claims. They were pretty intimidating I felt like. Maybe it’s just me. No personal questions. All mine leaned towards clinical. I hope everyone else has better luck.

I felt like I butchered it, nerves are the worst. They asked about clinical scenarios and some pharmacology - that I had to say “IDK, but I will find out!”. Dr. Rice was so so nice and friendly, he did say that I should get a phone call or email by Thursday, but I think he’s just a nice guy in general. Crying and not feeling good today ?

Sounds like their interviews are always different. Just curious what were the scenario and pharm questions they asked?
