Hello fellow pre-nursing students! This is a thread for those who are applying to The University of North Georgia's Nursing Program to start Fall 2019. Share your stats, HESI tips, and eventually acceptance/rejection notices. I am a post-baccalaureate transfer student and am re-taking science courses this Fall which have expired. I'm taking the HESI in about a month. Good luck to all who are applying!

Of topic, but what class did you guys take to fulfill the area D requirement? I'm missing that part and i'm thinking of maybe taking information technologies?

I got into Gainesville as well! Not my first choice of campus, but it’s great considering I didn’t even think I would get in. Congrats to everyone!

Looks like everybody on here so far has been accepted! I did too! (for those that will read these in the future when applying to the UNG nursing program, I have a 3.43 GPA and scored an 88.5 on my HESI) And did y'all figure out the sign up sheet??

I got rejected with an 85 Hesi and and 3.64 GPA?? Another friend got in with a 77 Hesi and a GPA 3.9. Can anyone tell me what that point system values were from the other posts (certain number of points for 3.9, 3.8 etc. . I can’t find it now. Really confused???

I’m currently taking Information Technologies online. I highly suggest it! It’s been really easy and laid back so far!

Yeah I’m also taking Information Technologies (CSCI 1250) online and it is very easy! Definitely recommend

Accepted for Dahlonega Campus with a 3.61 GPA and a 90 on the HESI, good luck everyone else ?

I'm sorry you didn't get in! I hope you get into a nursing program soon! And yeah, I've never understood how they chose people. I applied once already and didn't get in the first time but had an 84 hesi score with a 3.5 gpa. I seriously don't know their method and there has yet to be somebody that could explain. Some people say that they use the median scores

Hi everyone! I also got accepted to the Gainesville campus for this fall. Question....has anyone had Jason Robinson for Chem 1151 or 1152? That's my last prerequisite and I'm taking it this summer. Thanks!
