  1. I would recommend Prof William "Bill" P. Ellenberger. Looks like he is only teaching 1152. I took him for both 1151 and 1152 and made As in both. He assigns a few worksheets throughout the course for HW and is usually flexible about when they are due/doesn't count off if you are late turning in. He does use Mastering Chem, but everything is due at the end. However, doing it as you go helps solidify and gets you ready for tests. His lectures are straight PowerPoint from the book and he goes slow enough to make sure everyone understands. He is a little goofy but is always willing to help. ?
  2. Yes, congrats everyone! I was able to use the original confirmation link.. She pulled down the sign up sheet...
  3. Just got my acceptance letter - Gainesville campus!! Anyone else!?
  4. I spoke with a Pre-Nursing advisor on the Gainesville campus last Tuesday. She said she had heard the committee had some "technical difficulties so it probably will be later, in March" for this cohort. Not what I wanted to hear... I'm so anxious!! My GPA won't change much after this semester; if I make an A in A&P2 it will only go up 0.01. So the only way I could be move competitive for Spring 2020 is to retake the HESI...which no one wants to do... She also told me the committee is constantly changing the course list for NURSING. There is a chance NURS 2603, that is normally taken over the Summer, might get pushed to Fall.
  5. Yes, I actually did start the GSU app thinking I could somehow take the TEAS in time to apply for Fall 2019 but.. I'm just going to wait and see. Who do you have A&P 2 with?
  6. Ahhh I was just about to ask too! I'm super anxious. I'm taking A&P 2 now and am not motivated at all and won't be until I have a letter. I considering UTC-Chattanooga...I don't really have a back up plan, which is terrible. How about you?
  7. Hi again! l took the HESI yesterday, made a 91.5% and have applied. I'm a post-bacc UNG alum with a 3.56 GPA. I made all A's in the science prerequisites so far with A&P 2 left in the spring. Hopefully, they accept me! Good luck to everyone!
  8. Hi! I'm also post-bacc. I took Chem 1 Spring 2018 and Micro over the Summer. I'm currently in Chem 2 and A&P 1. I just registered to take the HESI in December. I'm pretty nervous! I hoping to manage to self-teach A&P 2 and score well enough for the Fall 2019 Cohort.
