I got an interview invitation as well; mine is at 10:30. I'm currently not a UNF student, so I won't be able to take advantage of the mock interview but hope to be prepared nevertheless. Good luck, everybody. What are you all going to wear on that special day?

For those of you who are not UNF Students, we (the students) have added an Interview Workshop Hour for Interview Candidates. Check your email for RSVP details. We simply could not leave you all hanging. UNF and Non-UNF Interview Candidates are invited.

Just wanted to wish you all good luck at the interviews in a few weeks!! Be yourself, come prepared, and for heaven sakes, come dressed professionally. You can not go wrong with a suit but you CAN go wrong being too casual or with a skirt too short or too tight (seen it, trust me). Feel free to post questions here leading up to the interview!! and good luck!

Thank you for the info :) I'm getting excited and hope to be admitted in the Summer. Are you a nursing student? If so, what route did you take? Traditional or Accelerated? I currently have my Bachelor's in a different field.

I am a traditional student. I have my bachelors as well already, but was very glad to be RPL and not APL! So if you are going for APL and don't get it, don't be discouraged. RPL is still a great program!

Did any of you attend the mock interviews this week on campus? If so, how was it?

I attended the interview workshop. I found if very informative and encouraging. The nursing students were very nice and gave good tips for interviewing as well as being a UNF nursing student. I'm glad I went. I'm very excited and nervous :)

I received an interview invite for the 10:30am slot! I am so excited but nervous. I don't live in the area and was unable to go to the mock interview so I hope I am not at a disadvantage right off the bat. Congratulations and good luck to everyone!

Are there any tips that can be shared from the mock interviews for candidates that were unable to attend the workshop? I am out of state and was unable to attend.

Hi there! We wanted to make sure we were very clear that the Interview Workshop was NOT a mock interview, but it was open to any and everyone that was invited to interview. It was an information sharing / experience sharing opportunity for the students to connect with interview candidates. We had people travel from very far to attend and, so far, no one has expressed that they regretted coming. Our main goal was to ease nerves, let you all know that we are here for you and provide information on how the day was going to go.

We encourage you to contact us at any time [email protected] with any questions. We are so happy to answer any questions you might have. I know you are all very nervous; but, you all will be fantastic!!

Be the BEST you that you can bring to the table and let the chips fall where they may.

OOps sorry my bad! Wrong language saying it was a mock interview - should have said interview workshop! You guy will do great on Friday!! Just take time to think through some potential subjects that will be asked about before you show up. I totally agree with being genuine, let your best self shine through!! And remember that you are not in competition with those in your interview group. There is a chance you could all get in!! GOOD LUCK!!! Can't wait to hear how it goes!
