UNF Summer 2015 BSN Applicants

Anyone else applying to UNF accelerated/traditional BSN for summer 2015? I'd love to talk to anyone about the application, TEAS, stats, interview, etc. I'm already getting pretty antsy about the whole application process!

I got an interview as well scheduled for 9:30am!! I'm so happy :) I think we'll be in the same interview group bmoreucf. The pool for Summer 2015 is competitive... 343 TEAS/ 3.72GPA

Congratulations everyone!! I got an interview too! I'm at 11:30 :) I feel like 90 minutes is a super long interview but I'm glad they're allotting so much time for us so we won't feel rushed.

Yeah I think we might be Sherri808! And yeah when I looked at those statistics on the email I practically fell over, I'm happy I made the first cut. The interview sounds a little intimidating, but I think knowing everyone else is in the same shoes, it makes me feel a little better.

We can't wait to meet everyone on Interview Day! If you are a UNF Student already, make sure to take advantage of the Mock Interview. If you are not a UNF student, make sure you go through mock interviews with family, friends and it helps that it's someone who intimidates you just a little.

You will find that the interview process is very laid back, but the magnitude of the event will be where your nerves come from. Try to stay relaxed. We will do our best to calm you and prepare you for a successful interview day!

For those of you who didn't make it this time, PLEASE do not give up!! The average amount of times someone applies to nursing school before they get in is twice. Key message here is that you never give up!

For UNF students thinking about doing the mock interview:

In order to sign up for a mock interview, you have to attend a workshop in February; either on the 11th or the 13th (Sign up at Career Services). Sign ups for the mock interview will begin immediately after the workshop. I don't know the dates of the interview but at least you'll have a spot. Good luck everyone and hopefully I'll get to meet you this Summer :)
