Hey guys,

I wanted to start a thread for any students applying to University of North Florida's BSN program Summer 2019. I am currently a student at UNF finishing up my last few pre-reqs for the nursing program. I am super excited and also slightly (actually very) nervous about applying to UNF's program since it is so competitive. I will have a 3.9 GPA if I finish with A's in the two pre-req courses I am taking this semester. I have yet to take the TEAS but have been studying as much as I can through the ATI Testing website and will be taking it in October. Any advice is appreciated, and I hope to hear from any future applicants! :)

For Fall 2018 when I was waitlisted, I applied with a 4.0 and a TEAS score of 318. I really wished my TEAS was higher but we’ll see what happens this time around! I am just excited for answers. And as everyone said above, both the Fall and Summer (APL and RPL) cohorts hold 36 seats apiece.

I got an email! I got an interview!!

This was part of the email for anyone wondering what the averages were for interviews "Those invited to interview average 3.74 in the prerequisite coursework and 338 on the TEAS. We have 36 Accelerated and 36 Regular Prelicensure seats in total for the upcoming term."

When Beth sent an email last week (or somewhere around there), she essentially said she should be done by 02/01 but to make sure we have the right emails in MyWings by 01/22. I'm assuming that meant as soon as she would be done going through the applications and ranking, she would go ahead and send the invitations out instead of waiting!

Oh I see! Will Dr. Dibble also email the applicants who weren't selected for the nursing program, just to inform them?

Yeah, I remember in an email from last Fall that she will email no matter the outcome for everyone post-interview! I’m very excited for March now?
