Hello everyone! I just got done with all my pre-reqs and need to take my teas! Who else is applying for this term?????
Hi ladies.
Greetings from Texas!
I'm finishing up all my prerequisites this fall semester, which is over in just one week. I'm sooo excited. I'll be applying to UNF and FSCJ. I've already scheduled my Hesi for FSCJ and I'll be taking the TEAS in February as well. I just wanted to touch base with any nursing applicant potentials to UNF or even FSCJ. How are you ladies or men on the application process? Have you taken the entrance exams?
I'll stay in touch
Warmest Regards,
Victoria :)
I was really worried since I haven't finished all of my pre reqs, but best advice I read and can give is study the manual and pay for the online practice tests. I stated to memorize the tests in the back of the manual, so I went and got another study guide to have fresh material and used that the last 3 days. I just kept taking tests and then I took the online test, which was WAY HARDER than the actual exam. So, if you do well on the tests in the back of the book and the online one, you will do great! When I would take a test, I would look up what all of the other answers were in addition to the correct one. I studied off and on for about a month, but for the 3 days before non stop. How was the HESI??
I have purchased those! I have been studying on and off but need to focus , I want to take it before march. Is the math section similar to the one in the book? Also I purchased the practice tests online, are they timed or will I be able to copy questions down and look up answers? Did you get the minumum score needed? (If you dont mind me asking) lol. The hesi is a peice of cake. The math is exactly like the one in the practice hesi book they sell at fscj and science is all basic just know whats in the practice book and then use quizlet online to study anatomy and biology. I saw many questions from quizlet on the hesi :)
They are timed, but I think you can go back? I'm not sure on that. They were very hard and I was super discouraged after I took it the first time, but I studied more and dI'd better. I think you can take each version twice. The math is very much like the manual. The theme vs main idea vs topic is more tricky than I thought originally, so I spent extra time on that. I got a 386.3! I was shocked lol.

I haven't applied yet, it's due January 15th. The interview is after the first round decisions. Not sure what the date is exactly.
