Oh wow! I applied to the main hospital as well as REX. I haven’t heard from UNC.

I also applied to UNC in the beginning of January! Not sure how long the process takes, but I have yet to hear anything either. Good luck to everyone who applies!

I've applied as well. My applications say "under consideration", but it's been a few weeks. Have you heard anything yet? Also I'm out of state. Are you local?

I also have applied to UNC for critical care services. I hope some have heard and have been extended an interview. I applied the day of the deadline!

Does anyone know how the application process works? I had to rank critical care departments (i.e. neuro, cardiac) and it says "Under Consideration". Honestly I'm sick of checking back everyday, it's taking time away from actually studying ?

Lol I applied the same day as the deadline too. It's just sitting there and I keep checking every day waiting for something. The anxiety does take away from studying lol

Mine still says "under consideration" as well. Hoping to hear back sooner rather than later but I'm not sure what to expect next! I'm out of state too. Looking to move into the triangle area after graduation in May.

I'm planning on moving after I take the NCLEX. I don't want the stress of driving across country and passing a test. I hope they start calling people soon. I feel like I've applied for so many jobs already and have yet to hear anything.

I've read in past forums that it does take UNC a little longer to reach out to applicants. Hopefully we hear something soon!

I just accepted a job this past week! Does anyone know if there is a facebook page for the Nurse Residency? I will be relocating to Chapel Hill and will be looking for roommates! Good luck to everyone in the application process!!

Congrats! I'm not sure if there is a facebook group set up as most of us here are still waiting to be contacted. If you don't mind me asking, how long did it take from the time you put your application in to the interview? Also what unit will you be on? Congrats again!

@sillymu Thank you!! I applied back in the middle/ end of January and had an interview last week. I accepted a position in Acute Care Pediatrics. Good luck and I hope you hear back soon!
