UNC BSN 2015

Hi all, I just submitted my UNC BSN application for the Summer 2015 program and I wanted to start this thread. I'm super anxious about waiting for the decision especially since there are so many that typically apply. Anyone else applying? Are there any current UNC students that have some insight about the program or admissions?

I can't take the suspense anymore! At this point I just want to find out one way or another... anyone else feel that way?? I keep telling myself to be patient but it's still driving me nuts.

I am a second degree student applying, I hope i get in. I heard it is harder for second degree to get into Regular bsn.

I feel the same way stategirl. Hope we get the admissions notices this week itself.

I called the other day and the nice woman told me that if you are a third degree seeking student, especially if you have a masters, then that will play in your favor. Here's hoping. I think some students will find out by the end of the week. It's almost here guys.

I don't think it's harder for second degree students to get in or that they have any preferences towards first-degree seeking students. Past BSN cohorts have been composed of about half first degree students and half second degree. If anyone gets a letter in the coming days please give updates soon! :) I think I'll hear back later than everyone else.

Nothing in the mail today. This is almost unbearable. Hopefully we will see something tomorrow or Saturday.

Mail hasn't arrived yet so no. I agree, this is killing me. I literally haven't been able to accomplish anything else this week because of this wait. Looks like Duke sent theirs out yesterday, so hopefully we will hear something today or tomorrow (for those who live in state).

Just checked the mail, no letter today... this is getting difficult.

Tell me about it. The other school I applied to said that they mailed out letters today. It seems like every other school is sending out letters except UNC. This is literally hair pulling.
