Unable to find nursing position 4yrs post graduation

Published

I graduated almost 4 yrs ago and every interview they say we cant hire you due to lack of experience,, how am I suppose to get experience if they wont hire me??? Im worried about loosing my license bc I cant work

Even I who was told by all nurses that I would never work again (lol) due to my spotty history have managed to find jobs. Are you a diploma nurse?

I'm amazed at the amount of new grads, and nurses in general, who say that they can't find a job, willing to relocate, yada-yada-yada. I have multiple nurse openings where I work and not one applicant! And no, it's not horrible. Just LTC. But everyone wants days, M-F, no weekends or holidays. If I had anyone come in the door without any major issues (legal probs or other things that make hiring a risk), I would give them a chance.

In which region of IN do you work?

Point me in the direction of your hospital and I'll apply...no restrictions other than me being located in California and preferring to do a phone interview.

Again, I'm not at a hospital, but a decent LTC. If anyone is really interested, let me know, as I hire nursing staff and CNAs. I can check into doing a phone interview if you are really interested. BTW, my facility has better pay and better benefits than the hospital, at a lower cost.

RNinIN you are so nice,i wish you were in New Jersey,i would have landed a job now.I have been looking for RN job since January in New Jersey
